Western Australia

EverAbility Group is honoured to have His Excellency The Honourable Chris Dawson AC APM, Governor of Western Australia and his wife Mrs Darrilyn Dawson as its official Patrons.

His Excellency the Honourable Chris Dawson AC APM was sworn in as the 34th Governor of Western Australia (link opens in new window) on 15 July 2022.

The Dawson family have been part of the early colonial settlers over five generations of farming and law enforcement. The Governor's great-great-grandparents arrived in the then Swan River colony in Western Australia in 1830.

Christopher John Dawson AC APM was educated at Perth Modern School before joining the Western Australia Police Force in 1976, going on to provide 46 years of service in Australian law enforcement.

He served in country and metropolitan positions, criminal investigation, training and senior roles. The Queen’s Birthday Honours List in 2002 saw him awarded the Australian Police Medal for distinguished service.

After 10 years as Deputy Commissioner, he left WA for a national role in Canberra between 2014 to 2017 as Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Crime Commission, amalgamating several agencies into the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission. He also served as Director of the Australian Institute of Criminology during this period.

He was appointed Commissioner of the Western Australia Police Force in August 2017, serving until July 2022. During the period of the COVID-19 global pandemic, Commissioner Dawson coordinated the State of Emergency and the Vaccine program.

He is married to Mrs Darrilyn Dawson, Education Consultant, with two married children and five grandchildren.

When they are not working, Mrs Dawson and the Governor enjoy spending time with their two married children and their spouses, and five delightful grandchildren.

Tasmania

We are honoured to have Her Excellency Professor the Honourable Barbara Baker AC, Governor of Tasmania as our official Patron. Tasmania’s 29th Governor, Her Excellency the Honourable Barbara Baker AC, was sworn to Office at Government House on Wednesday 16 June 2021.

Previously she was a judge at the Federal Circuit Court of Australia and was the first Tasmanian woman to be appointed as a Federal Magistrate in 2008. Prior to her appointment as Governor, she worked as a legal practitioner for over 23 years and practised as a barrister at Burbury Chambers. Her Excellency is known for her enormous contributions made to the administration of justice, the advancement of specialist advocacy in the family law jurisdiction and the promotion of women at the bar.

Aaron Constantine

Aaron Constantine holds the position of Chair

Aaron Constantine was appointed to the Board on 28 March 2019 and appointed Chairperson on 4 April 2020.Aaron has worked in the finance sector over 39 years. During this time, he’s held positions of Executive Director, Head of Corporate Finance and Managing Director Investment Banking, across investment banking and stockbroking portfolios. He has accumulated a broad range of skills and experience in equities research, equities dealing and corporate finance. Aaron is Chair of Leeuwin Wealth Pty Ltd, EverAbility Group Limited and the Guide Dog Foundation.

John Nolan

John Nolan holds the position of Deputy Chair

John Nolan was appointed to the Board on 29 October 2019.John has 40 years’ commercial experience in government, public and private organisations. Over the last 20 years his senior roles included group CEO Asia for the Wilson Group, whose diverse companies operate car parking, security, access control, health services and credit card processing. He has been a Board Director for a number of sporting organisations including WA Swimming, the Fremantle Football Club’s Business Club and the Western Australian Cricket Association Foundation.

Hayden White

Hayden White holds the position of Board Director

Hayden White was appointed to the Board on 19 October 2017.As a Chartered Accountant, specialising in restructuring, corporate recovery and turnaround management, Hayden brings over 25 years’ experience working with corporate clients, boards, financiers, retail banks and small-to-medium enterprises. Hayden is currently a Senior Managing Director at global consultancy firm, FTI Consulting, having previously been a Partner at KPMG for over 10 years, leading their Perth Restructuring Services Division.

Rita Kleinfeld-Fowell

Rita Kleinfeld-Fowell holds the position of Board Director

Rita was appointed to the Board in May 2023. Rita has a background in Disability Discrimination Law, Family Law, Public Law, Human Rights and Public Law as a senior solicitor with a large community law centre specialising in Disability and Human Rights. Rita is a current Board Director on various government bodies, including the Ministerial Advisory Council on Disability.  Born with usher syndrome Rita has direct experience of Deaf-Blindness, is a NDIS participant, a current client with VisAbility and a Guide Dog user.

Richard Gilmour

Richard Gilmour holds the position of Board Director

Richard was appointed to the Board 13 February 2024. Richard was elected to the Board of the Royal Guide Dogs for the Blind Association of Tasmania in November 2021, becoming President in July 2022. Richard has 30 years’ experience with the Tasmanian public sector, specialising in capital project delivery and strategic asset management, currently as the Director, Community Infrastructure, at Homes Tasmania. Richard is personally invested in community capacity building and addressing the needs of people with disability. His Board appointment provides government connections as well as policy, strategic asset management and project skills.

Jak Nuttal

Jak Nuttal holds the position of Board Director

Jak was appointed to the Board on 6 March 2024. Jak has extensive experience in financial and business management and is currently the Chief Operating Officer of a Hobart-based Accounting Practice. He is experienced in the Not-for-Profit sector and currently acts as Treasurer for The Hive Counselling. Jak has a strong commitment to supporting the community and a desire to make a difference. In recognition of his valuable financial skill set, he has been appointed to the Board’s Finance and Audit Sub Committee.

Jane Tandy

Jane Tandy holds the position of Board Director

Jane was appointed to the Board 31 May 2024. Jane has spent 20 years in senior management and executive roles in financial services and capital markets. She also has experience in the Not-for-Profit sector, holding many Non-Executive Director positions including Carers WA. Jane is passionate about people, communication, outcomes, and a champion for diversity. She brings to the Board her knowledge of regulatory oversight, compliance, and cybersecurity.

David Benson

David Benson holds the position of Board Director

David was appointed to the Board on 31 January 2025. David is a leading litigator specialising in large, high-value litigation, particularly in the context of shareholder disputes, class action suits, regulatory investigations, intellectual property disputes, and crisis management. David has worked on some of the largest litigation cases in Australia, in addition to several cross-border litigation projects and investigations. Additionally, he has extensive experience drafting, negotiating, and advising on IP/IT agreements contracts relating to complex technologies, and assisting clients in relation to privacy and data security issues. David is the partner in charge of the Perth and Darwin offices of Clayton Utz, and is also a Director of the Clayton Utz Foundation, the Chair of the Clayton Utz Cyber Security Board and a Governor of Hale School.

Julie Tate

Julie Tate holds the position of Board Director

Wendy Baxter holds the position of Interim Chief Operating Officer

Wendy joins us from Mosaic Community Care WA, where she has held a variety of Executive roles over the past seven years, including Executive Manager Quality and Safeguarding, Acting CEO, and most recently, Chief Operating Officer. With her strong background in Allied Health and NDIS auditing, Wendy brings a valuable and unique perspective to this interim role.

Annette Frazer

Annette Frazer holds the position of Chief Financial Officer

Annette is a qualified Certified Practicing Accountant with over 30 years’ experience in finance, accounting and ICT management.  She is a fellow of CPA Australia and holds a Master of Management Information Systems.  Annette’s extensive experience has been gained from the commercial and Not-for-Profit sectors.

Dana Wallace-Campbell

Dana Wallace-Campbell holds the position of Chief Marketing Officer

Dana brings a wealth of experience in strategic marketing, brand development, and purpose-driven fundraising, along with a strong background in leadership and governance. Her passion for creating meaningful connections with clients and the community aligns closely with EverAbility Group’s purpose and values.

Dana’s career spans executive and senior roles across the not-for-profit, health and higher education sectors. She has also served on advisory and governance committees for organisations such as Avivo: Live Life, Balangay Philippines Limited, and the Australian National Phenome Centre.

As Chief Marketing Officer, Dana leads our Marketing and Fundraising teams with a focus on purpose, people, and impact — working in partnership across the organisation to champion our brand, engage our community, and grow support for the essential services provided by EverAbility Group.
